Before the Battle

Open the portal -let the beast descend. It wears a mirror uniform stitched up with scars, memories, desires. It wears you, as a horrid reflection of the unfulfilled prophesies.

Through your skin it passes the stitches. Through holes in time it demands.

You drag yourself -slashed by invisible but felt throughout you chains- inside Cruelty. You are prepared for a brutal battle -You are used to that. Even though you still know nothing -you have learned nothing; You simply strive to understand.

In a star filled arena you sprinkle your blood -it is the perfect bait for the monsters coming. You sprinkle your blood -over the mud; over the entrance, above the spectators’ seats; all over you. Until you’re drained -poised to start.

Without the facets, the phenomena of your outer life; without your carnal self, you Are.

The initiating rituals... The distracting crowd yelling at you... The noise... The laughter... The smell of hatred emitted from your tomb... All external masquerades for nothing; they echo nothing into you. Your eyes face the sky above -it is neither day nor night. No star reigns above you -No sun either. All you discern are clouds -transforming into a beast, a flying Pegasus, you, as a baby, the moment of birth.

You look above and close your eyes. You see the whole. A prayer explodes unheard towards the sky. You have seen the entire creation. Now you are prepared to draw your sword. You scream, ready to fight.
